Diddy in London, Traveling in Style, Necklace Stolen

Diddy demands Cups and Plates: So, we already know Diddy is the richest in the rap/hip-hop universe. One can expect him to dine proper, the mogul himself had a few demands to be met. According to the UK Daily Mirror, Diddy on a recent European promotion stop in London, was less than impressed with cheap plastic plates and cup that the BBC Radio 1 had in preparation for an appearance. A source told the Mirror: "We had pulled out all the stops to make sure Diddy was happy, putting on a nice spread for him. "But when he saw the plates and cups he refused to eat or drink anything from them. So we sent staff out to a local cafe' and borrowed some china plates, cups and cutlery. After that Diddy was as charming as ever."

On a side note, the Bad Boy posse was traveling 15 strong in a $300,000 bulletproof Maybach car. But, of course $300,000 bulletproof car can cause some problems of its own, being to large for the hotel entrance.

Diddy gets $11 million dollar jewel stolen: On the European tour, Combs had a prized necklace valued at eleven million dollars stolen, "He was livid when he found the necklace had been stolen. He loves being extravagant and his collection of flash jewellery is his prized possession.” A source told the Mirror newspaper.

Cassie responds to video on her MySpace

Looks like the Bad Boy artist, Cassie, has the internet a buzz after a video surfaced on YouTube of the artist in her pre-Bad Boy days. The Video, Me & U (the Unreleased version) is quite suggestive by actions. In response, Cassie went to her MySpace page to "clear up" somethings for her fans: "Yo, some things need to be cleared up right now. First off I'd like to say that the media is absolutely ruthless and will do ANTHING to tear people down. This week particularily has been the worst with media for me. They've released statements that I never said about the intentions of my first single 'Me & U.' I never said that the song is about oral sex. Take it as you wish, I NEVER SAID THAT, EVER!" On the video, Cassie writes: "I personally don't feel that I need to talk about this "unofficial video" again (right now). But quickly, it was a bad look that got leaked on the internet. No, I DID NOT leak it....I don't care for that video, I never have cared for it."

Diddy Richest in Hip Hop, Needs Another Jet, and PR Manager

Diddy the Richest: Diddy in 2006, so far has increased his personal wealth surpassing, again his friend Jay-Z. According to Panache Report, the website reports the Bad Boy Executive, Combs' personal wealth stands at $345 million. Largely increasing from sells of his highly popular Sean John fragrance, the sell of Bad Boy, and Sean John. Jay-Z wealth tallied near $340 million, mostly from his ownership stake in the NBA's New Jersey Nets, Armadale Vodka, and his 40/40 Night Clubs.

  • Diddy, $346 Million

  • Jay-Z, $340 Million

  • Russell Simmons, $325 Million

  • Damon Dash, $200 Million

  • Neptunes, $155 Million

  • Dr. Dre, $150 Million

  • Ice Cube, $145 Million

  • Eminem, $110 Million

  • 50 Cent, $100 Million

  • Tie: Nelly and Jermaine Dupri, $60 Million each

What Diddy Needs, Diddy Gets: So what's a man to do with all that money? Get another jet! Diddy on vacation of sorts, hired a separate private jet to take his luggage from France to Rome, because there wasn't enough room for all his suitcases on one plane. The Bad Boy himself and girlfriend Kim Porter were preparing to fly from St. Tropez, to Rome when the jet's pilot told him there was too much weight to fly. So, Combs spent (a relative inexpensive) $16,200 on a second jet to take his luggage to meet him.

Diddy Hires PR Manager: According to
PageSix, Combs has decided to employ a public relations manager after five years doing the job himself. Jeff Kwatinetz, will work in "all areas including music, film, TV and branding".
